The more recent technologies have markedly improved the comfort of both wearing orthodontic appliances and the treatments themselves. With less pressure exerted on the dental arch, gum and tooth sensitivity has diminished significantly. There is still an adjustment period involved, but the majority of our patients adapt to their dental appliances without difficulty.
